A 60 year old woman arrested for PURCHASING five children for N5 million

A Sixty year old woman Asabi Adebayo, believed to be part of a child trafficking ring was arrested for purchasing 5 toddlers for N5 million from PortHarcourt. It is believed she is part of a child trafficking ring that sells children to high net worth individuals and desperate families.
According to Nigerian Tribune, she claimed to have given birth to the children in a fertility clinic, after paying N1million for each child, adding that the five children were born from two pregnancies as twins and triplets and were aged between two and one. The ages of the babies ranging from four months to two years were which include three girls and two boys. She had earlier confessed to buying the children but changed her story to being the mother of them all.
