FLASH: Lagos Governor Akinwunmi Ambode Signs MoU for Private Sector to build 4th Mainland Bridge







Its going to happen, 4th Mainland Bridge Loading... Lagos State Government today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to build the fourth mainland bridge to link the Mainland and Island from the Lekki-Epe Axis of the State. It is to be funded entirely by the Private Sector devoid of Federal Funds. 
This act paves the way for more private sector driven projects across the state and will greatly contribute to the reduction in congestion and an improvement in quality of life of Lagosians.
The project is to be completed in three years. This is a long awaited development project to improve transportation in the coastal city. The bridge is to consist of designated Lanes and plans for a light rail and future expansion.
