The State of Internally Displaced Persons in Dikwa

Nigeria has her work cut out for her. Internally Displaced persons  numbering about 73000 call the Camp at Dikwa a temporary home. Of these number of persons, 40000 are children and minors. These numbers already show that if not well managed we can expect an even bigger social problem as a result of the conflict for years to come.
Looking at pictures taken on a recent trip by Andy Madaki and his group who posted the pictures on his twitter page from the Dikwa Camp showing a poorly managed Health Care Centre in a tent,
One wonders whatever became of the funds contributed so far to Rebuild Borno and if the Government is committed to changing the way Disasters on this scale are managed.
In reference to  the strength of the human spirit, the young girls in the last picture smile for the camera in the midst of such great need.
