NIPOST Begins Banking Services

The Nigerian Postal Service has announced plans to roll out banking services in under-served rural communities.Nigeria has an estimated population of 140 million and growing and of this number only about 15% which is about 21 million of its population are currently captured within the present banking system.  Many rural dwellers have limited access to banking facilities. This move will serve to boost both Postal and Banking services across the nation and bring in many rural communities into mainstream banking.
