Students of the University of Lagos seemed to have had it up to their necks with all the discomfort caused by the lack of Power and Fuel in the country and staged a protest. The school authority seeing as they could not bring an end to the discomfort felt by the students as it is a national problem, decided to shut down academic activities and send the students home to stall any crisis on the University Campus. After issuing a Memo to the effect stating that the students should vacate the premises, It seems silly however that the exit gates remain locked keeping the students on campus with many resorting to climbing over the Gate to get off campus.
