After all the bleak years of uncertainty and instability, Borno State was deemed fit to hold the Convocation Ceremony of the University of Maiduguri for 37,259 graduands with 172 First Class Graduates. The large numbers are as a result of the backlog of graduands from years 2010 to 2015. Top Dignitaries including former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the Alaafin of Oyo and other dignitaries from around the country thronged in to witness the festivities.
